Seems to be a sort of interview theme on here today….

I love Ray Liotta’s answers in this short clip, which is from the Sundance Film Festival in 2011, the end of the clip shows the ‘quote of the festival’ – “I’d love to kiss a girl without having to choke her”. what more can I say other than I so want to be THAT girl lol….enjoy the snippet from the Times Talks interview

Ray Liotta – Good Fella and Busy Fella

Well as I type this, Ray Liotta is, or has just completed filming on a new movie called ‘The Devil’s in the Details’.  If you want to know about this movie please visit Ray Liotta Connection where you’ll find details of this, and a few ‘on set’ photographs too.

There are a number of other movies that are due to start filming in the near future, so it’s great to see Ray Liotta being in such demand, and continuing to be in such demand year after year.

This Ray Liotta fan can’t wait to see all the new movies that are going to be released in the future, and here’s to many more being made starring the awesome, so talented Mr Ray Liotta too.

Ray Liotta – Field of Dreams

Ray Liotta giving a brief insight into his views on his great movie ‘Field of Dreams’. My humble opinion of this movie is that it’s a great ‘feel good’, one for the whole family to sit down and enjoy kind of movie.

Ray, as we all know, plays the role of Shoeless Joe Jackson, and a fine performance he gives too. Also the whole cast in this great movie work well together, and everything comes together to give a great, could watch again and again movie, of which I have done, many, many times already….

I have to confess that it does move me to tears, but I’m sure I’m not alone in that.

P.S – I agree with everything Ray said in the interview showing within this post, he sort of ‘hit the nail on the head’ with his views about ‘Field of Dreams’ for me….

Ray Liotta – ER performance

I’ve raved about Ray’s performance on here before, but I make no apology for raving about him always. Ray on ER, he gave such a powerhouse performance, and it has been named by many, the best ever seen on TV. He quite rightly won an award for this, and so very well deserved that was too. I don’t think, in my humble opinion, that anyone else could have given this sort of performance, that pulled at your heartstrings the way Ray Liotta does in it. I love talking, but have to say that whenever I watch this episode I’m left sobbing and speechless, quite something that and the mark of a truly great, very talented actor.  So please sit back and watch this compilation of Ray’s performance, and have the tissues ready. Ray Liotta – I salute you!!!!

Narc – Ray Liotta Interview

As there has been talk of a possible ‘Narc 2′, which in my humble opinion would be awesome to have Ray in the role of Henry Oak once again, I thought it would be good to listen to Ray talking about ‘Narc’….hope you agree. The talking of a possible ‘Narc 2′ started earlier this year, and I mentioned it straightaway on Ray Liotta Connection, so I’m really hoping that talks turn to making this movie, and soon!!!!

Ray Liotta movie reviews….

The movie reviews I do on here, of course I’m sure you’ll already have guessed this, are all about and focus on those that Ray are in.  When I’m doing a movie review I won’t go into full details about the movie in question, as I really would not want to spoil it for those that might yet not have had the chance to watch it.  I will however give a brief overview of the movie, and let you know my humble opinion on it.  Hope that is okay with everyone….

Ray Liotta….Wanderlust

‘Wanderlust’ is the latest movie in the cinemas which features Ray Liotta.

I have to confess that I only went to see this movie because I knew Ray Liotta was in the supporting cast, and I was there on the opening day here in UK. I found the movie in itself to be very funny and poignant at times too, A brief overview of the movie is that a couple who are living in New York find they are out of work, so they decide to leave the city for a while.  While traveling to a relatives house they decide the journey is taking too long, and look for a place to spend the night, they find a place like they’ve never seen before.

You have to wait until towards the end of the movie to see Ray Liotta, and I can say that Ray is really rather cheeky in this movie, to actually explain that comment to you, Ray is shown naked in the movie, but back view only.  He is actually shown a number of times, with and without clothes, and the comments to go with them make me giggle. In the last photograph shown of Ray the statement is as follows…”Ray Liotta is a very intense lover”, all I can say to that is “oh my, oh my”….

In my humble opinion, if you’re up for having a laugh, or just because you’re a Ray Liotta fan and want to see this movie because he is in it, then I’d say buy your ticket now before it ends its run in the cinemas.

One of the things I love about Ray Liotta is that he really is up for anything, and not embarrassed to do what needs to be done – GO RAY, I adore you for thinking like that!!!!

The Son of No One….Ray Liotta

‘The Son of No One’ sees Ray Liotta back at his mean, moody and magnificent best, and plays Captain Mathers.

I liked how this movie was done, it allowed you to be able to follow the events of the ‘here and now’, while dipping back into the past to actually see the events unfolding many years ago, which now suddenly have come back into the spotlight once again.  The storyline basically is about a double murder that took place in the 1980′s, of which two of the characters are in some way connected, though that’s not to say they did it of course, or is it????  You’ll have to watch this movie to find out.  Mystery phone calls get made (though I’m not sure how they didn’t recognise the voice on the other end, for I’m sure I did, but hey this is movieland, so what do I know), and someone is sending information through to a newspaper, little notes questioning the murders, and these are published in the newspaper and the reporter starts to dig around and do stories about the time and events.

The ending was not at all what I was expecting to be honest, which I always think is good in a movie, when I don’t see what the outcome is going to be.  You also get the answers to a few questions at the end too.

In my humble opinion, if you like a good cop drama, with a few twists and turns along the way then I’d say this movie might well be for you!!!!

Ray Liotta gives a powerhouse performance as always, and made me 100%+ believe in the character that he was playing….

Ray Liotta…. ‘All Things Fall Apart’

‘All Things Fall Apart’ features Ray Liotta as a doctor.  50 Cent plays the lead role who is about to start on what could well be a successful NFL career, sadly he becomes ill and is diagnosed with cancer, the NFL career that he so dreams of might well become out of his grasp….

I found this movie to be very thought-provoking and emotional, as you really did feel for all the characters involved within the story.  It also touched on the financial side of becoming ill, which I have to say not many movies that ‘tackle’ this topic seem to do, not the ones I’ve watched anyway, and the role that Ray plays as a doctor is one of those that gets ‘straight to the point’, now I don’t want to spoil this movie for anyone who has not been able to see it, so I won’t say any further on that matter.  Everyone played their role well in this movie too, so I’d say great casting choices there, and in my humble opinion, they all really did take you on their own emotional ride throughout this movie.

In my humble opinion, I would state if you like watching a movie that makes you think, and has a message behind it, then ‘All Things Fall Apart’ could be the movie for you!!!!  This movie makes you realise that money and fame might be great, but in the end all the matters is being able to live your life.

I have just one complaint though….how come none of my doctors look like Ray Liotta????
